Envision Energy Wins 350MW Wind Turbine Order from Serentica Renewables
Renewable energy solutions provider, Envision Energy, has recently been awarded a significant wind energy project from Serentica Renewables. In an official press statement, Envision confirmed the successful acquisition without disclosing the order’s specific value.
The project entails the supply of 106 units of EN156/3.3 MW Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) by Envision to Serentica’s wind park. Once operational, this installation is projected to generate 1.25 billion units of clean energy annually, effectively preventing the emission of 1.06 million tons of CO2.
Set to be established in Maharashtra, India, the wind energy venture is scheduled for completion by December 2024. Envision’s CEO of Wind Power Technologies India, RPV Prasad, expressed enthusiasm, stating, “We are pleased to collaborate with Serentica Renewables in the development of this esteemed wind power project in Maharashtra. Our nacelles and hubs will be assembled in Pune, blades will be manufactured in plants located in Trichy or Bengaluru, and towers will be sourced from Maharashtra-based manufacturers.”
Serentica Renewables’ CEO, Akshay Hiranandani, emphasized the significance of the endeavor, remarking, “This project represents a crucial stride towards accelerating our industrial decarbonization initiatives and a substantial investment in our planet’s future and our economy.”

As per the contract’s conditions, Envision will provide 106 units of their advanced EN156/3.3 wind turbine generators for the wind park. These turbines have already proven their reliability and efficiency in previous projects across China and Vietnam. Specifically engineered to optimize performance in India’s unique wind conditions, the turbines boast a rotor diameter of 156 meters, a hub height of 140 meters, and a rated capacity of 3.3 MW.
