Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (MSIL) has revealed two new SUVs, the FRONX and JIMNY, to appeal to both SUV enthusiasts and off-road enthusiasts. Both vehicles feature advanced powertrain technology and incorporate Suzuki’s SUV heritage, further strengthening Maruti Suzuki’s SUV lineup.
The compact SUV FRONX will bring a new design trend to the Indian market with its fresh, sporty look, high-performance capabilities, advanced technology, and safety features. The FRONX will offer a new dimension to the SUV segment. The highly anticipated legend of off-road, JIMNY, will attract both professional off-road enthusiasts and SUV customers. The JIMNY, first introduced globally in 1970, has challenged stereotypes with its unique design and all-terrain capability, powered by Suzuki’s ALLGRIP PRO (4WD) technology.
Maruti Suzuki India Limited’s Managing Director and CEO, Mr. Hisashi Takeuchi, announced the launch of the Sporty Compact SUV FRONX and the highly-anticipated JIMNY, stating, “We have seen a significant shift in consumer preference towards SUVs.
