Asian Paints Q2 FY24 Results Today

Asian Paints shared its Q2 results on Thursday. They earned 8,643.77 crores in revenue this quarter, but that’s less than the 9,379.38 crores they made last quarter. The company’s growth decreased by 7.84 percent when comparing the two quarters.
In terms of profits, the company’s PAT (Profit After Tax) for this quarter was 1,232.39 crores, down from 1,574.84 crores in the previous quarter. Their quarter-to-quarter growth decreased by 21.75 percent.
The company’s EPS (Earnings Per Share) this quarter is ₹12.57, which is a decrease of 22.26% from the ₹16.17 EPS in the previous quarter.
Year-over-Year Basis Results (Q2 FY2024):
The company made a total revenue of 8,643.77 crores this year (2023), which is 1.06 percent higher than last year’s total revenue of 8,553.04 crores.
This year’s PAT (Profit After Tax) is 1,232.39 crores, which is also 53.31% higher than last year’s PAT of 803.83 crores.
The EPS (Earnings Per Share) for this year is ₹12.57, which is 54.04% more than the EPS of ₹8.16 earned last year.
Year-over-Year Basis Results (Half Year Ended FY2024):
In the first half of 2023, the company generated a total revenue of 18,023.15 crores, marking a 4.43% increase compared to the previous year’s 17,258.95 crores.
The PAT (Profit After Tax) for this half-year stands at 2,807.23 crores, showing a 52.58% growth over the previous year’s 1,839.86 crores.
The EPS (Earnings Per Share) for this half-year is ₹28.74, representing a 53.20% increase from the previous half-year’s EPS of ₹18.76.
Asian Paints Share Dividend Announcement / Record Date:
The Board of Directors has declared an Interim Dividend of ₹5.15 per Equity Share of Face Value of ₹01.
