Bharti Airtel, India’s top telecom provider, announced the launch of 5G services in Warangal, Karimnagar, and Hyderabad.
Airtel 5G Plus services will be available in stages as the network is constructed, at no extra cost for customers with 5G-enabled devices.
Airtel aims to make its services available across all cities in due course.
Shivan Bhargava, CEO of Bharti Airtel in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, stated that Airtel 5G Plus offers ultrafast speeds 20-30 times faster than 4G in Warangal, Karimnagar, and Hyderabad. The company is in the process of lighting up the entire cities.
Airtel 5G Plus enhances the company’s offerings and enables fast access to high-definition video streaming, gaming, chatting, photo uploading, and more. It will drive economic growth by revolutionizing industries such as education, healthcare, manufacturing, agriculture, mobility, and logistics.
In the past year, Airtel demonstrated the impact of 5G through various initiatives including India’s first live 5G network in Hyderabad, India’s first private 5G network at BOSCH in Bengaluru, and partnering with Mahindra & Mahindra to make its Chakan facility India’s first 5G-enabled auto manufacturing unit.
