Amara Raja Infra Wins $130 Million Solar Project in Bangladesh
Amara Raja Infra Pvt Ltd (ARIPL), a subsidiary of the esteemed Amara Raja Group valued at $1.75 billion, has achieved a significant milestone by securing a lucrative solar project worth $130 million in Bangladesh.
In a recent press release, Amara Raja announced that this venture serves as ARIPL’s debut in the international solar market, signifying a remarkable achievement for the company.
The project encompasses Engineering, Design, Supply, Installation, and Commissioning of a 100 MW (AC) Solar PV Power Plant, with funding provided by the Exim Bank of India.
ARIPL, in collaboration with Hyderabad-based Premier Solar, successfully secured the project from Rural Power Company Ltd (RPCL) in Bangladesh. The project site spans across 326 acres in the Madarganj region of Jamalpur District and is expected to be completed within the next 18 months.
Once the project is commissioned, ARIPL will additionally offer comprehensive operation and maintenance services for two years, including warranty spares and consumables.

Vikramadithya Gourineni, Director of Amara Raja Infra Pvt Ltd, expressed his pride, stating, “Securing this contract amidst fierce competition from industry giants is an extraordinary accomplishment for the Amara Raja Group.
