Bajaj Electricals bags contracts worth Rs 564.87 Cr for the supply of goods & services to South Bihar Power Distribution Company under the Revamped Reforms-Based And Results-Linked Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS)
South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited awards Rs. 564.87 crore contracts to Company’s EPC Business Segment for Supply of Plant and Installation Services under RDSS Scheme
The Company’s EPC Business Segment (Power Distribution) has bagged two major contracts worth Rs. 564.87 crores (excluding taxes) for the supply of plant and installation services in Bihar, India. The contracts have been awarded by the South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited (SBPDCL) under the Revamped Reforms-Based And Results-Linked Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) through National Competitive Bidding.
The projects involve the development of distribution infrastructure for Electric Supply Circle Sasaram (Rohtas and Kaimur districts) and Electric Supply Circle Munger (Munger and Lakhisarai districts) of Bihar. Pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations, the company wishes to inform investors about this development.
The projects are expected to be completed within 30 months from the date of issue of contracts. This development is a significant milestone for the company, and it highlights its expertise and capabilities in the power distribution sector.
