GAIL India Launches Swap Tender for 12 LNG Cargoes in 2024
GAIL (India) Ltd, the leading gas distribution company in India, has recently unveiled a swap tender aimed at acquiring 12 shipments of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for loading in the United States. In return, the company will provide 12 LNG cargoes for delivery to India in 2024. This development was disclosed by two reliable sources from the industry on Friday.
The cargoes sought by GAIL will be loaded from the Sabine Pass terminal, located in the United States, while the desired cargoes for delivery will be received at India’s Dhamra terminal.
Industry insiders have confirmed that interested parties have until June 22 to submit their proposals as the tender process is set to conclude on that date.
