HCL Technologies Q3FY23 Result Details:

HCL Technologies, an IT firm, reported a 19.6% increase in revenue for the quarter ending December 2022 (Q3FY23) compared to the quarter ending December 2021 (Q3FY22), according to data released by the company.

The company recorded a revenue of Rs 26,700 crore in the quarter and on a sequential basis, the revenue increased by 8.2%. Additionally, the company announced a dividend of Rs 10 per share.

The Earnings Before Interest and Taxes (EBIT) saw a growth of 22.8% YoY and the profit after tax (PAT) increased by 19%. The EBIT margin guidance was narrowed to 18.0% to 18.5%.

The company’s Chief Financial Officer, Prateek Aggarwal, stated that they were “enthused with the overall well-rounded Q3 performance” and highlighted the growth in services business, EBIT, and PAT. On a constant currency basis, the revenue was up 13.1% YoY and on a sequential basis, it was up 5%.

The CEO and MD of HCL Technologies, C Vijayakumar, stated that the company had delivered a strong performance across all key metrics and highlighted the growth in revenue, margin expansion, booking growth, and people metrics.

The company added 2,945 new employees during the quarter, bringing the closing headcount to 222,270.

The attrition rate in Q3FY23 was 21.7%. On NSE and BSE, the company’s stocks closed 1.68% and 1.62% higher, respectively. During the quarter, the company secured 17 large deals, 7 in the service sector and 10 in the software business.
