As per a statement released by the company, one-third of the newly created positions will be reserved for recent graduates recruited through strategic alliances with top Romanian universities.
HCLTech is set to expand its offices in Bucharest and Iasi, after completing five years of operations in the region, where it currently employs around 1,000 people to cater to clients worldwide.
According to Iulian Paduraru, HCLTech’s country head for Romania, “We are making investments to generate opportunities for the local workforce to pursue technology careers in Romania.” Alexandra Simion, an associate consultant at IDC, added, “HCLTech holds a significant position in the Romanian market, and we anticipate that its growth trajectory will continue to rise as the company strengthens its domestic workforce and expands its technology offerings in Romania.”
