HDFC releases operational update for quarter ending December 31, 2022 (Q3 FY2022-23).
In Q3 FY2022-23, the Corporation assigned loans totaling ₹ 8,892 crore to HDFC Bank under the buyback option in the home loan arrangement between the two companies, compared to loans totaling ₹ 7,468 crore in the same quarter the previous year.
Loans sold in the past year totaled ₹ 35,937 crore (compared to ₹ 27,591 crore in the previous year).
Gross dividend income for Q3 FY2022-23 was ₹ 482 crore (compared to ₹ 195 crore in the same quarter the previous year).
According to Indian Accounting Standards, the Corporation records the fair value of certain listed and unlisted investments through profit and loss (FVTPL). Due to market volatility, there was a debit of approximately ₹ 80 crore in the Statement of Profit and Loss for investments classified as FVTPL in Q3 FY2022-23, compared to a net gain of ₹ 124 crore in the same quarter the previous year.
There was no profit from the sale of investments in Q3 FY2022-23.
During the last trading day on the Bombay Stock Exchange, shares of Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited were trading at Rs. 2666.45, compared to the previous day’s closing price of Rs. 2652.60. A total of 15,650 shares were traded in over 2,194 trades.
The stock reached an intraday high of Rs. 2671.15 and an intraday low of 2638.00. The total turnover for the day was Rs. 41,516,549.00.
