HFCL Secures Rs 80.92 Crore Contract from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation

The contract entails the establishment of a cutting-edge Fibre Optics Transmission System for the Delhi Metro Rail Project, as stated in an official release.
The scope of the project involves HFCL’s engagement in the design, production, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the Fibre Optics Transmission System for three high-priority corridors of Phase-IV of the Delhi Metro Rail Project. This significant contract win further reinforces HFCL’s proven expertise in deploying communication networks for both national and international railway projects. Notable examples include the Mauritius Metro, the ongoing Dhaka Metro project, the Gujarat Metro project, and the Kanpur-Agra metro rail projects.
HFCL’s comprehensive experience and success in integrating communication networks for metro and mainline railways, along with its implementation of video management systems across approximately 600 railway stations, position the company as a reliable partner for similar ventures. It is worth mentioning that the Indian Railways recently selected HFCL to conduct a 5G trial covering an 82 km stretch between the Palwal-Mathura sector.
