Ircon International Secures Order Worth Rs 80 Crore from the Indian Railways
A famous infrastructure firm, Ircon International, has won a sizable contract from the Indian Railways’ Workshop Projects Organisation worth Rs 80 crore. The company’s shares fell slightly during Tuesday’s trading session despite this encouraging outcome.
Ircon International’s shares were down only Rs 1.65 or 1.78 percent as of 12:45 p.m., trading at Rs 91.15.
The project that was chosen for funding consists of a variety of civil, electrical, and mechanical components. Construction of an industrial shop with a pre-engineered building (PEB), the installation of water supply and drainage systems, electrical and illumination work, related telecom work and the delivery and commissioning of specific mechanical machinery (EOT cranes, etc.) are all included in this project. The project will be completed in conjunction with detachment-free rake examination facilities (Ph-II) in Bondamunda, South Eastern Railway’s exchange yard.
The firm is committed to finishing the project in its entirety within the allotted time of 18 months, beginning on the date of the Letter of Acceptance and lasting until January 23, 2025.
