This is almost five times more than its nearest competitor and will provide ultra-high-speed internet across the country.
Jio has installed 99,897 BTS (base transceiver station) across its two frequencies (700 MHz and 3,500 MHz) compared to Bharti Airtel’s 22,219 BTS, the report said. Additionally, Jio has three cell sites for every base station, while Airtel has two, meaning faster speed.
