Reliance Jio has launched its Jio True 5G network in all six states of the North-East circle, connecting seven cities: Shillong, Imphal, Aizawl, Agartala, Itanagar, Kohima, and Dimapur.
This comprehensive rollout across the entire North-East circle demonstrates Jio’s dedication to the region’s development. By the end of 2023, Jio’s True 5G services will be available in every town and taluka in the North-Eastern states.
True 5G offers many benefits, particularly in healthcare, where it has the potential to save lives even in remote areas. Solutions such as the Jio Community Clinic medical kit, AR-VR-based healthcare with Jio Glass, and Smart Healthcare Solutions like Tele Radiology, and Connected Ambulance are improving lives. These healthcare solutions can improve healthcare in urban areas and bring quality healthcare infrastructure to remote areas, impacting over a billion lives.

Beginning January 27th, Jio users in seven cities across six states – Arunachal Pradesh (Itanagar), Manipur (Imphal), Meghalaya (Shillong), Mizoram (Aizawl), Nagaland (Kohima and Dimapur), and Tripura (Agartala) – will be invited to the Jio Welcome Offer, which includes unlimited data at up to 1 Gbps+ speeds at no additional cost.
