L&T Construction’s Buildings & Factories (B&F) Fast Business has been awarded a repeat order by a well-known commercial developer, one of India’s largest mixed-use developers and operators, to build two towers with commercial office space in Hyderabad. The towers will have built-up areas of approximately 28.91 lakh sq. ft and 28.53 lakh sq. ft respectively.
The scope of the project includes construction of the towers using composite structure, MEP, finishes, and façade in configurations of 6B+G+22 floors and 6B+G+41 floors. The project is expected to be completed within 18 months.
According to Mr M V Satish, Whole-Time Director & Senior Executive Vice President (Buildings) of L&T, “B&F Fast is a specialized unit that focuses on utilizing innovative methods and technology for ultra-fast construction. This repeat order is a testament to our longstanding relationship with the developer and our ability to construct quickly and efficiently in this rapidly-growing segment.”
The B&F Fast unit recently completed the construction of a 7-storey state-of-the-art Flight Control System Integration Centre for DRDO in just 45 days.
