Suzlon to Build 69.3 MW Wind Power Project for Juniper Green Energy in Gujarat
A 69.3 MW wind power project will be built by Suzlon, a company that offers renewable energy solutions, for Juniper Green Energy. According to a corporate release, the facility would be located in Gujarat’s Surendra Nagar area and is planned to be operational by 2024.
The Suzlon Group announced in a press release that they have secured the second order of the 3 MW product series to build a 69.3 MW wind power project for Juniper Green Energy Private Limited. However, the company has not revealed any financial information about the contract.
As a component of the initiative, Suzlon is set to deploy 22 wind turbine generators (WTGs) employing Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) towers for their latest product, with a rating of 3.15 MW each. The 3.15 MW S144-140m, the company’s most extensive turbine from the 3 MW series, has received its first significant order with this project.
JP Chalasani, the CEO of Suzlon Group, expressed his delight, stating, “We are delighted to announce our first contract with Juniper Green Energy Private Limited and our second order for the 3 MW series.” Under the agreement, Suzlon will supply wind turbines (equipment supply) and handle the project’s construction, including erection and commissioning. Furthermore, Suzlon will provide complete operation and maintenance services following commissioning.
Naresh Mansukhani, CEO of Juniper Green Energy, stated, “With our operational solar power capacity exceeding 800 MW, we hope to commence our wind energy journey with this project and anticipate developing numerous more noteworthy projects in the future.”
