Zypp Electric, a startup in the electric mobility sector, has announced its plans to introduce 10,000 electric scooters in Bengaluru. As of now, 2,000 e-scooters are already on the roads, and the remaining 8,000 will be deployed in the next two months. This initiative is part of the company’s recent plan to expand services to 30 cities across the country and increase its fleet size to 2 lakh e-scooters by 2025.

Zypp Electric intends to set up over 100 Gorogro battery swapping stations at its Bengaluru hubs within the next 12-18 months. This move is expected to significantly enhance the city’s EV ecosystem.
Co-founder and CBO of Zypp Electric, Rashi Agarwal, stated that the company aims to provide businesses with affordable and sustainable last-mile logistics solutions. Following the success of its operations in Delhi NCR, Zypp sees a strategic opportunity to expand its services in Bengaluru. By expanding its electric fleet, the company is taking a significant step forward in making green logistics accessible to businesses.
Agarwal further added that this initiative would not only help its partners in reducing costs, but it would also create more job opportunities in the gig economy. With these plans, Zypp Electric aims to revolutionize the electric mobility sector, boost the economy, and protect the environment.
